Enchanted and The Golden Compass
we didn't even know it was raining WAY heavily outside the walls of jusco(haha) and it was flooding and about 2000 ppl had to leave their homes to go to some place to avoid being hurt by the flooding. seriously. 2000 ppl!
actually we wanted to watch MR. MAGORIUM’S WONDER EMPORIUM too(it was already in cinema in malaysia, but not yet in Singapore. i checked at cathay's website.) but it would be too late. the time was 6.45pm, and it would possibly end around 8.45pm, which means we would be home quite late. plus, we had to eat dinner. we watched Enchanted first(2pm to 4pm) then The Golden Compass(4.30pm to 6.30pm).

my comments: Enchanted
quite nice la, they even involved snow white's poison apple then the kiss of life by one's true love(that part was pretty gross.) and cinderella's glass slippers. except in the end the glass slippers fit perfectly into the feet of the main male actor( the one NOT in the story book)'s girlfriend. which means, the main actress(hey, i know there's no such word lah, but i had to separate the main actors!!)(Giselle) ended up with the main actor(still the one NOT in the story book) and the main actor's girlfriend(nancy) ended up with the prince that was in the story book. and Giselle came out of the story book to be a real person and nancy(blah blah the girlfriend) went into the story book. seriously..
my comments: The Golden Compass
pretty interesting, but i heard from the radio that there were 3 parts of the story and the movie was only based on the first part. and the bear was pretty fake. and uu know what? there was this part which the main ice bear(the white bear you see in the trailer-lorek something. i forgot the last name) fought with the king of the ice bears-- the king actually poisoned the king before it and fought with the throne-in-line aka lorek. duh, the current king won. then lorek came back with the little girl who was the main actress in the movie to fight the ice bear king once more. lorek almost got defeated.. it was like, so weak. then when the ice bear king stood up for victory(the bears are so tall.)(and um, duh, the king didn't win. see more) lorek suddenly lounged and bit his neck and the king died. when he did that SOMEBODY IN THE CINEMA CLAPPED LOUDLY. THEN, A FEW MORE PEOPLE JOINED THE APPLAUSE. okayys, it isn't like in sch, which when someone clapped then a few more joined then everybody joined in that kind. but you can really hear clapping and the cinema we were in was pretty big. which is, believe me, way weird lorh. see the movie! its a good movie.


okayys, since i saw two movies ytd.. which means.. i have seen 3 movies in 10 days. the first one was on 27th November in Phuket Thailand(went to Phuket too. drove there from Krabi) which i watched The Game Plan. and i watched Stardust on 8 Nov. which means 4 movies in around a month. waah. 4 movies in a month? a HUGE record for me. i usually see around 5 to 6 movies a YEAR!
oh wells, have to stop.
